March 2013: CET Signs Capacity on AFRICASAT-1a. MEASAT Satellite Systems Sdn. Bhd. (“MEASAT”) announced today an agreement with CET Teleport GmbH (“CET Teleport”) for capacity on the recently launched AFRICASAT-1a satellite. Under the terms of the agreement, CET Teleport has secured C-band capacity on AFRICASAT-1a which will support their growing presence on the ground across the African continent. February 2013: CET Has Africa Covered. CET Teleport GmbH announced today that it has signed a three year contract with SES for NSS-12 Ku-band capacity linking Europe and East Africa. CET has seen substantial demand for satellite services in this region and the East Africa beam has proved immensely popular with both operators and end-users. Read the full press release
December 2012: CET has made it into the WTA’s annual lists of the Top Operator in 2012 yet again! CET has moved up a place in the Independent Top Twenty from last year, now ranked at 15th. This is the 5th consecutive year that CET features in the Top 20 Independent and Fast Teleport lists. See the lists in full.
November 2012: CET Teleport has upgraded their teleport antennas using the Agilis line of 200W Ku-Band and C-Band redundant BUC products. September 2011: CET has launched North African services offering broadband and VoIP connectivity for government, commerce and individuals within the European beam of T11N satellite. The first links are already operating in Libyan towns of Benghazi and Misrata with Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt to follow soon. Read More
