New VP Sales for CET Teleport

11 April 2010: CET Teleport GmbH is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Ivey as its new Vice President of Sales. Matthew`s role will be to manage the whole of the direct and indirect sales activities of CET and, through his wide experience within the satellite broadcast industry, intends to capitalise on the substantial investment that has been made in the broadcast infrastructure.

CET Teleport GmbH launches iDirect Evolution DVB-S2/ACM network to expand services over Africa.

7th April 2009: VT iDirect, Inc. (iDirect), a company of VT Systems Inc (VT Systems), today announced that CET Teleport GmbH, a teleport operator based in Germany, has purchased an iDirect Series 15000 Universal Satellite Hub to launch a pan-African DVB-S2/ACM satellite network using newly available Ku-band capacity on Telstar’s T11N satellite.

29th July 2008: It was announced today that, with effect from 1 July 2008, CET Teleport has acquired from Stratos GmbH (Stratos) its interest in the former Deutsche Telekom teleport located near Hameln in Germany.
