Neil Ashworth, Director of Business Development & Strategy

After a career in B2B sales and marketing with ICL and Rank Xerox Neil became involved in the satellite industry as a founder director of BankNet in Hungary which installed the first shared hub in Central and Eastern Europe in 1992.

In 1996 he moved to sister company SatComTel in Moscow as General Manager.

In October 1998 he joined DeTeSat, which operated the Hameln (now CET Teleport) hub, becoming Country Manager for the UK and Ireland.

Following the sale of DeTeSat to Plenexis in 2003 he left to join CapRock as an Account Director.

His last position prior to the CET appointment was as Regional Director responsible for CEE, Russia & CIS and the Middle East at Paradigm Communications.
