Ken Armstrong, CEO
Ken started his career at British Telecom back in 1965 and was
involved in the development of its backbone System X switching system.
He later
moved to Audio Conferencing and then Broadcast Services, ending his 32year
employment with BT as International Business Development Manager.
After a brief
spell as a Consultant for numerous global communication companies, Ken joined
Kingston Mediastream with direct responsibility for Direct to Home and
Occasional Use Broadcasting.
In 2002 he assumed a role of VP European Operations
Plenexis GmbH with direct responsibility for the CET Teleport, and other
facilities.
In 2008 Ken spearheaded negotiations with Stratos to conclude the
acquisition of the teleport facility.
